About Us

Follow along with us on our travels with our motor home. Minnesota is our home, but we go south for the winter. Yes, we are Snowbirds. We love traveling and want to share our experiences with you. This will be our third time traveling south to avoid the cold Minnesota winters. Our travels began in late October with the first destination of Concord, New Hampshire, and New Haven, Connecticut, to visit family before heading south and will eventually get to Arizona before returning to Minnesota in April.

Turkey Point

Turkey Point Lighthouse

It was a great day for a two mile hike so we walked the trail along the shore of the Chesapeake Bay out to see Turkey Point Lighthouse. We didn't know it, but when we got there we learned that today was the last day of the season that the lighthouse would have it's doors open.  We were able to walk up to the top and view out.

This is not a very tall lighthouse.  We climbed to the top and looked out over the Chesapeake Bay and went back down.  That was it.

New Location

Most of the weekenders have left the campground now and we were able to move back to the original loop that still has water and sewer hookups.  I think there are only three of us here tonight.

Deer!

We were sitting around enjoying a campfire when a deer decided to pass by!  He hung around for a while and didn't mind at all when our neighbors and we took it's picture.
