Our mission today was to visit the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. On the way there we walked past the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. This is where your money is made. There are tours, but no free samples. There is so much to see and do around here that I don't know if we'll make it to this one this year or not. I would love to see it.

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.. wow..what an experience. We spent over four hours viewing the exhibits and the memorial inside. Very well done. There is even a German railcar in there that you walk thru. Photography is not allowed so I can't share it with you. It begins with explaining the power of Nazi propaganda and how it all began and then how it all ended. Free admission.

"We who did not go their way owe
them this: We must make sure that
their deaths have posthumous
meaning. We must make sure that
from now until the end of days all
humankind stares this evil in the
face...and only then can we be sure that
it will never arise again."
